The Minnesota State Patrol says a crash on Interstate 94 at the Lowry Hill tunnel in Minneapolis has forced the closure of the westbound lanes.
The westbound lanes of the freeway will be closed “for an extended period of time,” the State Patrol said in a Twitter post about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Drivers are advised to find an alternate route. The crash is under investigation.
UPDATE: The State Patrol posted about 2:50 p.m. that westbound Interstate 94 has reopened.
